Professor Stephen Stahl in Madrid

One of the talks will be given by none other than the distinguished Professor Stephen Stahl from the University of California, San Diego (USA). For those who may not be familiar with him, he is an internationally renowned authority in the field of psychopharmacology. He is a professor of psychiatry and director of psychopharmacology in California, as well as the author of several books.

I am particularly excited about attending these talks because throughout my psychiatry residency, Professor Stahl’s books were on my desk, and even today, I always carry his “Prescriber’s Guide” with me (if there’s any psychiatry resident reading this, I highly recommend this gem). Besides being a very approachable and engaging speaker, he has a great ability to convey knowledge, and his books are truly wonderful.

My father was able to attend one of his lectures at the APA (American Psychiatrist Association) conference in San Francisco years ago, so thanks to him, I had heard of Dr. Stahl even before diving into the fascinating world of psychiatry.

For all these reasons, I feel fortunate and grateful to be able to attend this event, and I hope to share with you very soon how the experience was.
