The 30th of March marks World Bipolar Disorder Day, and coinciding with this, on the 16th and 17th of March, the VI teaching course of the Andalusian Bipolar Disorder Study Group will be held in Antequera, to which I have had the honour of being invited.

The event will feature talks, workshops, and interactive sessions with well-known figures, such as Dr. Luis Gutiérrez Rojas, the president of GETBA and my former university professor, Juan Carlos Leza, a professor of pharmacology at the University Complutense of Madrid, Dr. Juan José Rodríguez Uranga from the Advanced Neurology Centre, and Dr. Pepe Navarro from the Val D’Hebron Hospital in Barcelona, who specializes in topics related to sexual health in mental well-being, among others.

As those who know me are aware, I have a keen interest in staying up to date with the latest developments, and I’m thrilled to be able to attend these sessions, which are being held in the beautiful setting of the Parador de Antequera.

In addition to participating in various workshops, I will apply for membership in this Andalusian study group on Bipolar Disorder. Wish me luck!

As mentioned, we will be closed next weekend, not for a holiday but for training purposes.

Here is the link to the association organizing the event, where you can also find the program for this VI course, in case you’re curious: https://getba.es/.

See you when I’m back!
